O.O Everything else done without texture!!! Woah amazing. I havent gotten around to using custom brushes yet so perhaps that's why I find it pretty hard to render texture to the degree your work has. Maybe it's time for me to go and try
My traditional art is usually just graphite drawing. I've been trying out pen-and-ink and looking around for good paints, but alas, I haves no moneys. My digital is all on my laptop (no tablet or drawpad) so I spend more time than I would like just making my lines correct. XD Anyways, I guess I'm just not used to the digital medium. Real paint seems easier to work with for me.
I see, I've done watercolour and oil painting before, paints don't come cheap indeed, but the basic daler rowney oil paints for students should suffice. Or acrylics are also an alternative, though they are not that good for blending compared to oil paints. And yes, without a tablet doing digital drawing is a pain, I've been there before haha. Well no matter the medium, just find something you are comfortable with and play around. By the way, are you an art student? Just curious as well
I used to take Standard Art as a course during my ninth and tenth grades in High School, but I stopped taking the class eleventh grade because I needed to focus on accrediting myself for a future career in Aerospace Engineering.
My interest in art is mostly as a hobby, but if all goes to plan, I will have more than enough money after graduating from college and finishing service in the armed forces.
Thanks. It's honestly going to be hard for me. I didn't really know what I wanted to do with my life until now, and didn't try much in school until this year. It's going to take a lot of doing just to get into college thanks to that. Hopefully my letters of recommendation will help.
I hope you succeed as well, in your life and your art. (=
